Oscar Iván González Fabela
is a Mexican composer and sound artist. A graduate of the Faculty of Music at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL),
he studied composition and electroacoustic music under the guidance of Dr. Ricardo Martínez and Dr. Jorge E. Gómez.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Artistic Production at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH), supported by an Academic
Excellence Scholarship from SECIHTI - SNP.

His international career spans North America,
Europe, and Asia, garnering prestigious accolades such as First Prizes at the XIII ULJUS International Piano Competition (Serbia, 2026), the Los Angeles International Online Music Competition (USA, 2025), and the 1st Knoten International Composition Competition (Netherlands, 2025). He has also received Gold Prizes at the Francesca Lebrun and Franz Schubert Competitions (UK, 2026), and a Special Prize at the 1st Aion Digital Art Prize (Japan, 2026). In Mexico, his trajectory is backed by the PECDA-FONCA 'Established Creators' fellowship (2024) and CONARTE grants (2019, 2021).

His compositions have been performed by prominent ensembles including CEPROMUSIC, the UANL Symphony Orchestra, and Sinfonieta de Nuevo León. His work has been featured on high-prestige international platforms, most notably at the Palacio de Bellas Artes during the XLVII FIMNME (2025) in Mexico City, as well as festivals in Buenos Aires and across Mexico.

Embracing a wide spectrum of formats, his catalog reflects a deep interest in the intersection between acoustic and electronic music. Under this avant-garde premise, he founded the cyberpunk project CYBERIAHOLE in 2024, releasing the album Breaking the Universe. Additionally, he created Rogue Modes, a generative music laboratory developed with artificial intelligence that consolidates his focus on the global technological and creative vanguard.
